Laconia Local Eatery

Unfortunately, considering the higher price of the menu, I found the meal to be average compared to other restaurants in the area. I ordered the filet, and the portion of mashed potatoes was very small, with no vegetable options available. I wish I could give a better review, but I simply did not have a standout experience.

There aren’t many dining options in the Winnipesaukee area. I've tried about four or five of the typical places, which feature the usual fried dishes and classic diner-style eateries. While I don't mean to criticize those options, Local Eatery stands out from the rest. With its exceptional food, fantastic recommendations, and lively atmosphere, it can be a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you're celebrating a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary, make sure to dine there!

I was quite disappointed with both the service and the food at this nostalgic restaurant. We ordered hot coffee with cream and sugar, but when we added the cream, it curdled and floated to the top. The waitress informed us that the cream was old and should have been discarded. The bread they served was tough and hard. We also ordered pork chops, but they were only partially cooked. I recommend you think twice before visiting this place.

Let me tell you, the best restaurant in Laconia and one of the best I've ever been to. Cozy, warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly and charismatic staff. Food hand made fresh right in the center of the restaurant, many items with delicious local ingredients, you can see and taste the passion the chefs put into their craft. Menu is diverse and I have yet to eat something I did not love. Cocktails are all fantastic with options to suit any taste, again many including homegrown NH spirits. The bartender really is talented and takes her time crafting a delicious drink that isn't loaded with juices/sugars etc. If you think it's pricey that because the quailty is there and it's absolutely worth it. Reccomend making a reservation ahead of time and you can thank me later!

Great local farm to table eatery. Good beer and wine options. Great gluten free GF options. Steaks are good, meat is good, specials are good. Convenient to the lakes region, Lake Winnipesaukee, Meredith, Church Landing, Mill Falls, Alton Bay, and great hotels. Treat yourself to a nice night out in the beautiful refurbished Laconia train station with nice outdoor patio dining. Good desserts. Exhaustive cocktail list. Fantastic salads, fresh vegetables, beets, and other options.
