When we arrived, I couldn't believe it: we were and remained the only. it is a very rustic. space (crossed table plates, something like that). I was quite happy (two of three articles on my teller were good and the pan fried kartoffeln reminded me of more innocent days than fat and calories not much, but fabric tasted good. my wife was very disappointed and I can see why: her wrinkled carving was clearly under par. the beer was good.
I enjoyed the quiet and stylish, entertaining aesthetics of this hospitable and buried a fine selection of German dressing and beating. I ordered spa gel (saving season) and a finely built burger and ate outside. the waitress was friendly and hospitable. weather permit, sitting outside and watching...the people walk past this unique bw city.
I really like this place. it is our standard place for a meal if we can not disturb cooking. highlights are the original carving and the Cordon ball. in summer they have a carving with cheese sauce, and the cheese sauce is amazing .some art mix with some local cheese. it is not good to eat, but it is a good quality, with fresh ingredients, and the host knows that his beer ask for his recommendation. the salads are also very good if they are after a little lighter.
We have reviewed the other options and although this restaurant has one of the smaller terraces on the central square, we could get a table. at this time of the year the asparagus menu was available, and there were many different options. I decided. the steamed spa gel with hollandaise and a real white carving (of calf, not pork), my edgy mate chose the penne with austere, the sparingly cream soup, the pork medallions. we were all very satisfied with eating and the service was remarkably good. all standard rates, but very well done. we'll be back.
I may not be quite fair but we had booked a table for two on a Saturday night. It is in a prime location in Ladenburg. When we arrived I couldn't believe it: we were and remained the only ones. It is a very rustic place (scrubbed table tops, that sort of thing).I was reasonably happy (two out of three items on my plate were good and the pan fried potatoes reminded me of more innocent days when fat and calories didn't matter much but stuff tasted good. My wife was very disappointed and I can see why: her Wiener Schnitzel was clearly below par. The beer was good though.
