Kings Links in Vancouver offers a distinctive golf experience with a variety of unique holes and affordable prices.
The golf course is pleasant, although the views are not as spectacular as advertised. You are located by the sea, but only catch a glimpse of it from one or two tee boxes.
Decided to try this restaurant after hearing about good food. Arrived on a Friday night about 5:30pm. It was maybe 1/4 full. Sat donwn and waited. Waitress came said she would be with us in a moment. After approx 10 minutes, noticed another couple come in and sit down. They were waited on and had their drinks and we still had not even been approached by our waitress (same one as had spoken to us). A couple of minutes later the other table had their drinks. This same waitress had passed out table probably 4-5 times without any comment. I eventually asked her iof they were still serving dinner and if we could get some drinks. She came over and took our drink and dinner order. Food was good. After she dropped the food we weren't approached again. We again waited about 10 minutes and I again stopped her and asked if there was a dessert menu to which she rep[lied that they were all out of desserts but had ice cream and she again left. Once again I had to flag here down for the bill. The food was good although the menu is limited for dinner items but the servbice is the worst I have seen.
Friday's are the Prime Rib special. Great value for delicious Prime Rib, the Yorkshire is huge, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the hot horseradish was actually hot and flavourful! My only disappointment, and it's not a big deal, were the mashed potatoes, I feel they could do a bit better. The service was attentive and friendly and the view is calming and quiet. We will be back again!
