Brooklyn Water Bagel - Lady Lake

Great bagels hands down!! I have tried several places and love the taste and texture. Veggie cream cheese is the bomb.

Three of us arrived at the restaurant around 2:30 pm. Unfortunately, the bagel making machine was already turned off, but it was understandable. Ordering was smooth and our food was promptly brought to our table. We each ordered different items and I also ordered something to go. Due to foot surgery, I was in a wheelchair, but the staff was accommodating. The food was both delicious and plentiful. However, there was an issue with the ice machine for coffee, so we had to find an alternative. The only issue we encountered was two employees who started the closing process while we were still eating and were very loud. It was distracting as they were standing next to each other by the coffee machines. Despite this, they assured us they were not rushing us. We plan to return to the restaurant before 2:30 pm to avoid this issue in the future.

Maybe it's the water. Yes, the bagels are excellent, crunchy on the outside, dense and chewy on the inside.. However, much like Brooklyn rumors, the people there are grumpy. I've yet to see anyone there smile.

I came in, excited because they had Taylor Ham, so I ordered the Jersey Boy. It seemed like forever to get my order, when it finally arrived it was completely wrong. The staff fixed my order and prepared my Jersey Boy as I had ordered. I was disappointed to find that they don't grill the Taylor Ham like they do in Jersey, instead they just heat it in the microwave. Grilling the meat brings out the flavor of the Taylor Ham. I won't order it again, but I will come back for just bagels.
