El Meson Mexican - Lafayette

Delicious food arrived hot and by a friendly delivery man. Portions are generous. Only problem was the woman on the phone taking the order understanding me, esp. address. I ordered pork chicken, but got steak and pork.

We found this place very kid friendly and terrific staff. The price was not bad for the typical costs if eating out. I would recommend it.

Friendly staff Good portion sizes. Nice ambience. Fast service. Only 3* for the food. It's a decent place. Not 5* like some reviews say though. Food was decent. Nothing extraordinary.

The food is always delicious here and the service is both helpful and polite. Easily one of my favorite spots in Lafayette.

I have been noticing this place is busy so decided to give it a try. Will definitely come back. Chips, salsa, white queso dip was good, above average. Ordered the Pollo Fundido and it did not disappoint. Could not finish it all, even using the chips to clean up the leftovers. Will try something different next time but I may have found my new Mexican place in town.
