However, Ras Kassa's veggie sambussa lacked the usual spicy sauce that accompanies it at other Ethiopian establishments. The herbed hummus was tasty, but it needed some sauce. The veggie platter did not include popular vegetables like ktikil gomen, gomen, and fosolia; customers can order them separately for $15 each or get 2 combo plates at $17 each. I opted for the latter and tried the spicy vegetarian and vegetarian combo plates. The dishes were delicious, except for the sweet potato pot. Overall, there is room for improvement, but it is still a good dining option.
I've never tried Ethiopian eating and this place is delicious! the staff is so sweet and friendly, and the food is full and fantastic. I have recommended ras kassas 100%!
The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is delicious. The injera flatbread is especially flavorful. I highly recommend it!
I have been a regular at Ras Kassas for the past two years. I am a big fan of Ethiopian cuisine and this restaurant serves very authentic and delicious food. The staff is knowledgeable about vegan options and the vegetarian platter is always vegan. The restaurant is run by a friendly family who are always willing to help you enjoy a fantastic meal!
Ras Kassas is a warm and friendly Ethiopian restaurant. The vegetarian and vegan options are many, and delicious. The proprietor is Ethiopian, as are most of the staff, and they are friendly and helpful. Truly a delicious taste of Ethiopian cuisine and new and different presentation of the many vegetable options! One of our favorite places to dine out!
