The service was exceptional, the coffee was delightful, and the donuts were amazing. The establishment was clean and inviting, creating a great atmosphere. This would definitely be my go-to spot every morning in downtown Lafayette! I would rate it 5 stars if they offered at least a hot breakfast sandwich.
I had a lovely lunch with my family at this restaurant. I ordered the flatbread topped with brisket, and it was absolutely delicious! The jalapeño pickled pineapple slaw lacked some spice—there were only two small slices of jalapeños—but it still had a good flavor. I appreciated that there was an elevator to the patio, which was convenient for my grandma. The patio itself was very nice, and the seating was quite comfortable.
The owners are passionate fans of the Grateful Dead and embody a philosophy of treating everyone with dignity and respect, always striving to pay it forward. The staff embraces this motto, making the customer experience truly exceptional! As a vodka enthusiast, I found their signature drink, infused with lavender and orange notes in gin, to be a refreshing delight. The BBQ, paired with an array of delicious sauces, is simply fantastic—just be sure to request extra water if the spice level gets too intense. The atmosphere feels like a step back into a 1960s garage, complete with attentive service and flavorful BBQ dishes that will satisfy any palate.
