The Vermilionville - Lafayette

Great lunch special! Started with delicious gumbo, then some Awesome chili, cornbread, sweet corn. Topped it off with exceptional bread pudding!!

We ordered the lunch Special NOT disappointed! From pork chop to biscuit to bread pudding... Everything was delicious!

My wife and I both had the special lunch. This includes a bowl of rubber. And a duck. Today's duck was pork over rice. One side of corn; the corn actually cut directly from the cob and then sugared. A biscuit and dessert. My wife had the vegetable chocolate cheese cake, which was very tasty and rich.. I had the Apple Cobbler who was pretty tasty. Beverages were also included in the price of 10.95 and we had both iced teas. If you go to Vermilionville, I recommend eating at the restaurant.

The food, the view and the staff were amazing. My friend has several Cajun classics to try by ordering cup size portions.

So good! Had a salad with hamburger steak peas and mashed potatoes. Yummy
