They grill everything on order, so service takes a while, but when you get your meal it is well worth the waiting. Simple setting, great calamansi juices and great food to really good prices.
Cozy place and serves chicken barbeque aside from other filipino food. the servings are just enough and other chicken parts include gizzard and liver.
This place was fantastic, visited with my partner for a casual meal, ended up stuffing ourselves with fried chicken, fish, soup, rice and more rice. We dined upstairs in a large gallery and there was plenty of space around without feeling squashed in a can. the toilets and wash facilities are a bit dirty but if your used to traveling this far south as a tourist then you know what to expect ! the food was fantastic, fresh cooked and tasty. plenty of choices from bbq chicken, Sautee vegetables and grilled tuna ! I thoroughly recommend a visit for the juicy chicken and finger licking bring your own wipes) . as a tourist it was a bit remote at night time for my security, there was a few issues with local street beggar, probably safer to locals and during the day.
Nadie 's Chicken House will always be memorable for me because it 's the very first restaurant where I ate in Gensan when I first visited the city 11 years ago... And Nadie 's chicken remains to be my favorite grilled chicken. It 's so good that I never miss having a second or third cup of rice whenever I eat there. Good thing, they have an unlimited rice option for their set meals so you can eat as much rice as you want. The secret I believe lies in the simplicity of Nadie 's chicken. Their chicken tastes fresh, it 's tender, not greasy, there 's no sawa or umay factor, and it 's flavor is not concealed by sauces or breading. It 's simply how chicken should taste like. It 's this great tasting chicken that made this restaurant last that long since they opened in 1976. Aside from the grilled chicken (leg (paa or breast (pecho , other must-try 's are the kinilaw na isda and tuna sisig, tinolang malasugue or imbao, and inihaw na panga or tuna belly. All the dishes are reasonably priced and served generously. If there 's one area that needs improvement, its making sure that the dishes are always available. I have dined in their SM City Gensan and National Highway branches and in many instances, their best-selling dishes are not available. It 's going to be such a pity for first time visitors who 's coming to Gensan for a short visit if they will not be able to taste Nadie 's best dishes.
