Casa Mexico Cantina - Lago Vista

My man and I were in the city that visited chicago. we were pleasantly surprised how authentic the Mexican cuisine was! very delicious. the bartender mac has made an amazing job to make our drinks, especially the michelada. it was one of the best we ever had. he was very friendly and got our food and drinks quickly. can't wait to come back!

Friendly and beautiful staff! they have our vegan preferences and mushroom tacos with tweezers and zilantro on maistortillas were delicious?!

Love this authentic Mexican Cafe, and the service is outstanding (we've been helped by both Sonya and Gidrey...and both are great). The birria tacos which are the bomb ? and the burrito was fantastic too!! We topped off our meal with an authentic churro (heads above any others we've had). Spring for the top shelf margaritas as the regular margs leave you unsatisfied

A wonderful local Mexican restaurant. the beer is beautiful and cold. the service is top notch. the natives seem to hang on the bar and create an entertaining environment. eating, eating that is amazing. I had the birria taco plate (three tacos filled with crushed bark meat that was marinated in something amazing) they give them something even more amazing to immerse the tacos. ask for the avocado and jalapeno sauce. when they are close to jonestown tx, they stop here. they will not be disappointed.

Sorry but I do not like the food. I gave it 2 stars just because I liked the service. The 1st time I went there for lunch the salsa was hot (not spicy hot but cooked on the stove top hot). I've never had that before nor do I want to have it again. At that lunch I ordered the beef tortas. The steak had so much grissel fat throughout, I couldn't eat it. I thought maybe a bad day so I tried it again after being open for awhile...not any better. This time it was for dinner and I had the chicken burrito, just a tortilla rolled up with flavorless meat in it. I will not be back.
