A Guitarra - Lagoa

I read the reviews and was impressed, has I had bought an appartment near by, so was hoping I would have a good place to eat. I was not disappointed I arrived and was greeted as if I was a long lost friend, within minutes I had been introduced to his family, now down to the meal I asked him to make a meal he would enjoy, so out comes the hot bread and couvert really nice olives etc, then came a dish of king prawns in a simple but delicious sauce, the main course consisted of a large steak (didn’t go for the tomahawk) cooked to perfection with vegetables and home made fries. All this with a beautiful local red wine, Just in case this was a lucky chance we went back the following night and we again where very impressed. So if you are visiting the area The Guitarra Resturant is well worth a visit.

Gem of a place, prawns from Nirvana, **** gorgeous followed by a Tomahawk. Won’t be eating again for awhile. Highly recommend this place, nothing too much trouble, oh and the Negra Mole by Paxa, wow

Stayed nearby and walked to this amazing local neighbourhood restaurant. Raes was so welcoming and proud of his family run business and it was wonderful. We had the five courses plus wine and it was wonderful. A night we will never forget

This is the second time that we visited a guitarra on our holiday. emanuel and his wife are so beautiful and welcome that returned to us here. eating is fresh and well cooked. they hear what they want and make it right for them. they would recommend
