Mar A Vista - Lagoa

Lovely little gem, doesn’t look much and has a limited menu offering but what they do serve is delicious! Very friendly staff, gorgeous food (even with a very fussy eater) and very reasonable prices. We had the pork belly, grilled squid, sardines and veal steak… recommend them all, plus a citrus tart, chocolate moose and cream caramel for puddings! The house wine €5 for a litre was also very drinkable!!

Very friendly service, speaks several languages. Dorade and squid very good, side dishes potatoes and mixed salad. Adjustments to the dish were accepted.

We were lost and hungry after an early flight. We decided to have lunch and then find our villa. Welcoming staff and nicely presented plentiful food.

Decided to give this place a visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Service is slow but the food was good as were the prices. We will be back.

Visited this hidden gem last night after having read tripadvidir review. Away from all the business of the town centre but very near to our hotel. It was a welcoming little restaurant and we had a prime table on the terrace with sea views. Had garlic prawns and mixed salad as a shared starter excellent. The mains of monkfish rice and rump steak (looked more like sirloin) were exceptional. Deserts were home made and yummy. The team worked well together and should be commended. I would visit here again without hesitation. Thank you for such a fitting end to our holiday.
