Vale Do Milho - Lagoa

What a great find! We had dinner for 6 people, the food was fantastic at very reasonable prices. There’s a children’s menu for the kids with substantial portions. There’s a good choice of wines and the owner helped us to select a white wine to pair with the fish. Ah yes..the fish, fresh and tasty. However, aside from the delicious food, what really makes this place great is the owner and staff who are warm, welcoming with a great sense of humour! We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

Haven’t been for many years, so a risk when it used to be so good. We were not disappointed though. Set in own gardens on Vale de Milho urbanisation. Easy to get to in an Uber 5 mins away from Rocha Brava and 5 mins from centre of Carvoerio. Lovely setting spacious terrace. Higher price point than most but very good service lovely food. A place to linger over dinner enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

A lovely setting in its own grounds so easy to park. The starter was slightly disappointing as the garlic prawns were mainly butter sauce with little garlic. The prawn and salmon kebab for main was excellent. My wife had sea bass which was very good. The creme caramel was also very good. Certainly good value for money.
