The pastries were hard and therefore not value for money. The service was average. I will not go back.
My first visit to Petit Paris was in 2014, when they were at Samit Mall. I went there to play the Saxophone as a surprise to a friend's girlfriend on her birthday. I thought the space was super cute and cosy so went there on a date. My meal was De-Li-Cious, the best sea food pasta I've had ever. It was't made with a tomato based sauce yet it had the perfect blend of spices. They shut down for a bit and got a bigger spot in Lekki which I visited in March. I didn't eat this time round because I was in a hurry and the waiter said it will take 25 minutes. Plus, the staff were still lounging around when we got there so it would have taken way longer than 25 minutes. I've got 2 posts on my blog with pictures of Petit Paris. My blog is called Tuke's Quest. Simply type Petit Paris into the search box.
From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the enviroment and the ambiance. I kept smiling when I spotted the indoor space exactly positioned like a bistro which is it. It is not your typical environment in Lagos which is small very much in your space. When offered the menu and opened up with inbuilt light, it was filled up with a lot of exciting meals even though we could not pronounce some but it was different and It was exciting. We ordered for spaghetti bolognese, seafood pasta with Beef kebab and which took roughly 20minutes. I could see through the kitchen because they had a glass like you would have in french and italian restaurants to see the chef cooking; Pretty cool. When the food arrived I was amazed I spent the first few minutes taking pictures it was well presented and smelt very good. It tasted so good like it wasn’t made in here, I have been to french restaurants outside Nigeria and it gave me the exact taste I was looking for with herbs and nice flavors. One of the best meals I have had in a long time, I wanted a different food experience and every bit was worth it. I spent roughly 3 hours there in the evening and I was impressed. They have a romantic spot for dates so it is the perfect place for good european food and very hidden as well. You can have your space and Just chill. I had a Great experience and it is one of the best places for european cuisine in Lekki
Fine food in a really quiet part of Lekki Edit: visited twice and the experience remains great. They do some work on the building so it was just us this evening/night. But the food was excellent as usual. I thought I'd come back with some photos.
