Churrasqueira O Franguinho - Lagos

I never post any reviews, but after visiting this restaurant I decided to write how amazing it was! We spotted this place on our way back from a beach and decided to try their chicken piri-piri. The only staff working there was a nice lady, which was so charming that we automatically fell in love with this place! We ordered two chickens piri-piri. The lady was taking orders from us and also cooking our meals. The chicken was very, very good, probably the best is Lagos. At the end she recommended a Portuguese rice pudding for a desert, which was also super delicious! We ended up paying less than 20 euros for 2 meals with drinks and dessert. I really recommend this place!

I wouldn 't be surprised if LP addresses O Franguinho as hidden gem. I 've no ideia if it is being referenced at all ? but in my opinion it should, because this is the kind of places I 'm usually searching for, on the LP guides. This is a genuine, honest and spartan restaurant where the focus goes 100% to your stomach and smile. The staff/owners are always nice and the chicken here is among the best I 've ever tried: it is perfect, simple as that! It is popular for take away but you can also sit inside. It is located completely out of the crowded touristic streets in Lagos. You can 't get better price/quality ratio in all Algarve! Absolutely recommended, we are looking forward to be back here. Maybe next summer we will be there ;
