La Table De Marie - Lagrave

We visited Lagrave at lunchtime and nearly missed this excellent restaurant. From the carpark it appeared to be closed, another restaurant opposite was all lit up and we very nearly went there. I am glad I tried the door. We had a warm welcome and a really wonderful lunch. We opted for the Menu du Jour. We had two choices for each course, excellent well presented food, all fresh home cooked ingredients. It couldn't be faulted. We often visit restaurants at lunchtime and have the Menu Ouvrier, always good value. This restaurant is far superior for only a few euros more. We will certainly become regular visitors, even though it is a 50 minute drive for us.

A wonderful stop along our journey. Sat back, all the food decisions were made and we enjoyed every leisurely minute of our time. A place were the locals eat.

Take your time! Excellent local cuisine! Honest and good food... This is not a restaurant for a quick bite, but one to enjoy la douce france. Book a table for lunch, especially on Friday...there is a fixed fish menu that draws a crowd to the (terrace) tables.

An address to remember or you discover a lot of flavors at each fork on its plate with a pleasant terrace and a pleasant waitress and a chef in the kitchen at the top
