For dinner, we tried the ahi tuna and the chicken and shrimp pasta, both of which were delicious. For breakfast, my husband had a two-egg meal while I opted for oatmeal. The following day, we both had the ranch omelette, but we found it to be overly garlicky. Aside from that, the ingredients were fresh and tasty.
Daisy and Edgar are truly fantastic. The food is exceptional, and the beautiful surroundings we enjoy every Sunday are absolutely enchanting. It’s hard to believe biscuits and gravy can taste that amazing, and even a simple salad is such a delight. We genuinely appreciate all the effort you put in, from the attention to detail to the quality of the food. And let's not forget your wonderful wait staff! That's why we're happy to spend $300 a week on Sunday breakfast—it's truly worth every penny!
I had heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant, so I made a reservation for breakfast while my parents were visiting from Australia. It was a special occasion for us as we were celebrating Australian Father's Day. Unfortunately, the entire experience turned out to be quite disappointing. The service was slow, almost nonexistent. We waited nearly 10 minutes for our waiter to arrive, 30 minutes for our drinks, and almost an hour for our food, all while the restaurant wasn't even busy. The food was subpar, and they forgot several items we had ordered. To make matters worse, there were no salt and pepper shakers on our table, and two different staff members overlooked bringing them to us. I won't be returning, and I'm very disappointed with this experience.
Is there any place in South County more elegant than Harvest? The privilege of having The Ranch practically in our back yard is such a bonus. We were celebrating a very special night my 70 'th birthday and as always it was lovely. The menu choices are always wonderful. I had had an especially jammed day and just wanted a minute to shift gears once we were seated. Our server (Frank has waited on us several times over the last year plus) came over quickly and wanting to make sure we were well attended. Only thing, at that moment, I just wanted quiet, so I asked Frank once he served our cocktails, if we could just sit for like, 10 minutes. Kindly he left us alone and circled back at the right time.
Our server Phillip was outstanding in every way. His menu knowledge and explanation of everything was truly impressive. Also a shout out to Jude for his excellent attention in assisting Phillip. We were very pleased with each dish and had a wonderful meal.
