This is a must to stop great atmosphere, fast and friendly service, for a busy Friday night we were treated as it was not busy, food was fantastic by the garlic Edamame, salmon collar, Kin Roll, Toro, Albacore Jalapeño Roll, Hungry Roll, large sweet shrimp to the baked Mussels. Don't lie!
Server, Sam, is amazing. It starts very quickly what you like and make suggestions for new fish that they get every day. The owner manager is very open to suggestions and seriously wants to make your meal special. We went all the way to Newport Beach to our favorite sushi restaurant for unusual fish and now we no longer have to. The only negatives, and the past, some of the prep was not consistent, but they seem to fix that. Sometimes taking home is not exactly what you ordered. Often the fish is better than elsewhere.
This place is the best sushi south of LA. My wife and I were 40 or so sushi places and have a rating system for everyone. This achieved the highest with 100/100 and we have been here since. We meet it to taste, price, service and atmosphere. It has 10 points each. Good quality sushi (confidence us, we were in many places) with amazing price bow boxes and lots of food. The staff is so amazing and come here a few times and they prepare your meal before you even sit down. It's nice and pretty if you're not there during the rush, but even if so there's a little nice wood decor that it eats the sound. It will always be peaceful. Can't recommend this place enough
They have the freshest fish in the area. This is really my only criterion for a sushi place. Everywhere different things seem to be done in the sauce, which is good, but somehow misses the point. They are also super friendly, which is a huge plus.
Finally I found a place with a sushi roll similar to Vancouver's dynamite roll... 1000 oak roll. In a bento box with beef teriyaki.
