Romano Cucina - Laguna Hills

Perfect and tasty. Looking for an Italian restaurant to take friends, and again, the reviews were on site. Our local friends were never there, so I was originally a little nervous, I made a call ahead reservation for 9 at 6:30 last night, we came and waited no more than 5 minutes. We sat and couldn't ask for a better night. Of the more than attentive waiting staff at great meals, this is a place where everyone who enjoys Italian cuisine has to be visited. Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. I experienced fantastic service and a refreshing classic Italian pasta dishes to choose from. I'll go back. Everything tasted fresh, Roman Cucina is certainly better than the few other Italian restaurants in the immediate vicinity. I've been eating them all the years. Four stars of five.

This restaurant is good for the ambiance and the food is pretty satisfying. The restaurant can get crowded and you may need to call ahead of time to reserve a table. I ordered the pasta tombrello and it was decent but my wife's pesto had more flavor than the meat sauce that was in mine. The calamari was a must order as an appetizer and the bread included was a welcome addition to the carbs consumed throughout the night. If I eat here again, I'll make sure to order the pesto.
