-Food Review : @mystcafe Myst Cafe is a Thailand based restaurant located in the heart of Lahore (Mini Market, Gulberg). Myst Cafe had opened doors for the customers in January 2019. The first thing I noticed was that it was a complete three floor building and I can see inside the restaurant as the whole exterior was made of glass which is very appealing. . Upon walking towards the entrance door I can see few tables and chairs placed on the side of the walkway and to my surprise they are also offering outdoor sitting. I once stopped to sit outside as the weather was really good but then I decided to sit inside. I was greeted with SALAM by one of the staff member and he asked me where I would like to sit and I choose table near the glass so I can see outside and enjoy the weather with my meal. All the SOP’s were followed by the staff members everyone was wearing masks and gloves and sanitizers were placed on every table. So full marks for following the SOP’s because most of the fine dining restaurants are still not following SOP’s. The grey and blue combination of interior gives it an atrium type of look and a great addition to the ambiance. . Lift is also installed in the restaurant which highlights the International standards. The best thing about the place is that it had a bar (HALAL), high bar chairs are placed so a person can sit and enjoy his/her drinks. BTW bar is famous for Myst Rainbow Bomb Shots. . Menu was handed over to me by the staff member before moving forward I would suggest every restaurant to shift to “Digital Menu” place a QR code on the table every customer can scan the QR code and go through the menu it have two benefits first it reduces the direct contact and second it is good to evolve with time. So, after my long suggestion coming back to the menu, it was quite interesting it is a pure Thai and Continental cuisine restaurant but they are also offering Seafood, Fast food, and Mocktails (Highly Recommended). . So coming to the food I ordered: . Cream of Chicken Soup Rs.450 To start my meal I ordered Cream of Chicken Soup, as the soup arrived on my table I noticed a different type of serving it was a big bowl which had a space in the middle and soup was streamed in the middle of the bowl. It looked full creamy and aroma was driving me crazy. . After finishing my first spoon I felt so proud of my choice it was a full creamy soup riched with flavor and small chunks of chicken. Texture of the soup was smooth and spinach on top of soup added more to the flavor of soup. . The amount of butter, milk and cream used in it was perfect, excess of any of these things can make the soup taste bland but luckily it was cooked with perfection taking care of all the spices, quantity of chicken was exceptional the small chunks of chicken were boiled to perfection. I was half full after having this soup it was kind of heavy so order it on your own risk if you want to eat main course and of course desert. My overall experience with this soup was great and I will definitely try this again. . Thai Hot Garlic Chicken Rs.850 I am a Thai cuisine lover and I gave myself no other option when I see a Thai cuisine section in a restaurant’s menu so I ordered Thai Hot Garlic Chicken to fulfill my hunger for Thai. The first word that came to my mind after seeing my meal was OMG I loved the presentation definitely full marks for the presentation. . The gravy portion was garnished perfectly so was the egg fried rice topped with scallions. It was a combination of chicken and mushrooms cooked with some delightful vegetables that includes scallions, vegetables, capsicums, onions, and cabbage. . Now coming to the main point, the taste of the food, I tasted a chunk of mushroom and it was soft and full of taste, upon tasting the chicken I realized it was a perfect combination of sweet, salty, and sticky sauce. Every single vegetable was cooked superbly and the best thing that was adding flavor to the dish was the garlic sauce. . Cafe Solasta is a café with several kitchens. It serves excellent lunch and dinner. You can also enjoy drinks and coffee. It's good for groups and alone. Beautiful interior. Parking and parking are available. Bar and credit cards are also available.

Cafe Solasta just happens to be the restaurant you zoom past every time thinking you should try it, but never do. So this time I stopped and actually tried it for lunch with a friend. The Moroccan steak and their Thai Three Leaf were our order. We even tried their new ice curls (strawberry and kitkat flavor on house recommendation). The ambiance is okay, the food tasted pretty great but what is so great is the price range. The portions were good and the food is very economically priced. The Three Leaf was one of the best I’ve had. The fresh mint and basil just the right amount. I must recommend this place because my experience was pretty good.
