Contribuisci feedbackWe were struggling to find a place to have dinner and came across this place. We were welcomed and shown a table but we struggled to converse in English. We managed to order the food which took some time to arrive 2 meals were as we ordered but the third one was completely wrong (pizza instead of a meat dish). They took it away and eventually got the meat dish which wasn't exactly what we ordered (pepper schnitzel with croquettes but got standard schnitzel with fries). Overall, it was ok but nothing to roar about
As we were traveling on our way home we had a stop over in Laichingen. The hotel owner was so kind as to call this restaurant who was willing to serve us pizza on Sunday evening late. The owner welcomed us very kind, and served us very well. The Quality of the pizza’s was top although we all ordered different pizza’s. Mine for example, the calzone braccio di ferro, a calzone pizza with spinach and cheese, was delicious. Also the canneloni was very good. The primitivo went very well together with the food. The vintage grappa was the right way to finish the meal.
We went to the restaurant on Sunday night. We were on our way to Austria from the UK and stopped overnight in Merklingen. The food was very good and the service attentive. We very much needed to chill with a few beers and were not rushed even though we were the only people left. I can certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to go back next time we drive to Austria.
Actually we wanted to stay in the allgäu on the way to the south and have informed us about where we can sleep well and eat. but unfortunately this was due as we were able to break up lately and only arrived at 22 o'clock. so it remained there during the night. then we ate in lichlingen, where we had to make a short stop. hungry as we were, and with little time the pizzeria “Stern” was recommended by a native, “where to eat themselves”. a first one passed there, did not impress anyone particularly trusting, because that was quite empty locally as visible from the outside. but since the time rushed and therefore offered “pizza” and they can not do much wrong, we decided our car on the small parking lot in front of the “star”. we were then automatically guided directly from the parking lot to the restaurant, because an ice rink transported us directly in front of the entrance door – accessible for disabled – our final succession, especially as our third traveler was on the way with a walk. the native then kidnapped as completely empty, was it because jogi's young just put the kaustic? also this is not locally impressed by the inside. a large winter garden did not seem particularly welcoming, in the older part of the building the tables were full with magazines. we had the impression that we disturbed the owner in his rest. of the good 30 other tables we could then choose one. the card, order, contained the usual Italian dishes expected in a pizzeria or in a ristorant. as it should go fast and my trust in the other products were wounded, we ordered three different pizzas 7 – 8 €, plus a large salat capriciosa with olive, cape, wash basin and cheese 11,80 € as an appetizer we wanted to share on two. the drinks came quite fast, the bottle mineral water – noname – 3 €, the sprite 0.4 to 2.50 €. a toilet visit in the meantime let me come to the estimate that the large basket, bordering on used paper towels, will probably always be emptied ultimo at this visitor frequency. in the meanwhile there was a marienkurbel in the neighboring table, the men probably saw football – certainly the better. ; the salat then came in the meantime, we had asked ourselves what was at a price of 11,80, we were disappointed. a few discs and iceberg salad sheets that were compensated for us because they were exorbitant, about a table tennis racker size – and shape. mutations? against this, the tomats had to work small, but at least they were divided. the dressing edgy and oil, pretty fade, edgy dominates. salt scattering was not in itself, they must be through. the pizzen came after a pleasant waiting period, dept as well as of neat size, but would have spent quite a lot more time in many and a little fade salt would have helped here too. the espresso 2 € was ok, no more. Conclusion: I wonder how the restaurant can exist – maybe we will find it soon at rach. we will no longer strike here – was a embarrassing solution. as we are on the way to italia, we consider this as before: I have decided to evaluate the entire impression here (not the individual areas according to the scheme of cuisine trip. this judgment background is replaced by a restaurant classification. this can apply to a star place as well as a pizzeria or a snack. I think this is fair, every restaurant category will be fair and I would like to find it if other friends would join it and this would prevail for the whole impression here. total impression: 1 – certainly not again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it returns, 4 – happy again, 5 – just after a kitchen trip
