Lagoa - LAJES DO PICO

A nice place for a lunch. (A buffet type eatery). Probably the best on Lajes. We tasted beef, octopus and white wine. All where excellent. Not expensive. Will be back there again.

Was happy to find out we could order stuff just from a menu and not all to can eat . Food was decent. I enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, no-frills restaurants, “Lagoa” is probably a good option. They have both à la carte and buffet options – the latter had some six different dishes including meat, fish and vegetarian. The quality of the food was good, as was the service. All in all, a decent restaurant.

Ate here twice for dinner. The food was better than expected based on other reviews. My wife had swordfish which was a very generous portion and well prepared I had pork which was very moist and nicely seasoned and tasty. And the portions were far more than I expected for the price. The second night we each got omelettes which were also good. The fries are also nicely prepared.
