Family and I went here the day before Thanksgiving to get our Thanksgiving food fix while at Disney. We were not disappointed at all. Our son with a wheat allergy received his own plate with all GF foods identical to ours, even GF stuffing, rolls, and macaroni cheese. He was in heaven. The standouts to us all were the dressing, mashed potatoes, and toffee cake dessert. The turkey was very good also, but the pot roast really stole the show in my book; wow, that’s good stuff!
The Liberty Tree Tavern is in the Magic Kingdom. It's a sit-down restaurant with a set menu of bottomless dishes (or at least it was when were there in November 2023). The food was surprisingly tasty! Lots of American favorites- pot roast (superb), turkey, roast pork, macaroni and cheese, rolls, salad, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. The green beans were quite good and fresh. Our server was lovely, but not very attentive, unfortunately. I'm not sure if that's a tactic to avoid refilling dishes, or just because it was the end of the night. The setting is nice- 18th century style.
This place was amazing! My son is allergic to eggs, our waiter Adil was extremely cautious and aware of all cross contamination and ensured the best experience for all of us!
In visiting Disney's Magic Kingdom with my significant other who's traveled from abroad we booked a reservation, me being vegan , her being a meat eater but allergic to dairy we thought it was a good option and great price point for ALL YOU CAN EAT. We were seated in the Ben Franklin room and our salad came out first.. before entering I thought it advantageous to skip the salad in lieu of more main course however after tasting it neither of us could resist! Fresh and served with an incredible house made vinaigrette we were in love! The rolls were smothered in garlic and a non dairy butter! Again incredible. Main courses were incredible my vegan dish was mash , 4 vegan Salisbury steak style meat patties billed as a meatloaf (Impossible meat)with a mushroom gravy flavorfully seasoned and cooked and a side of green beans. Hers was a trio of turkey , pork and roast beef with a traditional gravy, mash, green beans and cranberry sauce (opting out of the Mac and cheese) she thought the roast beef really stood out and ordered more , she raved about the atmosphere and our server was very sweet timely and knowledgeable. Our dessert was the vegan friendly Johnny Apple seed cake and it was incredible! The texture was spot on , served warm it had a great crust around a soft and warm center, notes of butterscotch were very forward and the dried cranberries added an awesome texture and harmonious flavor contrast. The cake in itself was worth it all.
