Ball's Fried Chick-n 2 - Lake Charles

Ok...yes the chicken is by far the best I've had, but that's not the end of the story with this place. Honestly you can't go wrong with just about anything on the menu. The hamburgers rival some of the best in the city and holds it's own very well, the fishburgers are so big.....I have yet to find another place in the city that actually uses real fish. The only knock I have about this place isn't food related-I just wish that they wore a uniform or something.....it's like I could just walk back there and work...and that's part of the experience also. That aside, some of the best food around is right here. If you haven't tried it yet, go!!! Also there are two locations in the city....on Common St. across from McNeese, and Enterprise Blvd. I highly recommend the former over the latter. For some reason, the food and service just appear to be better to me at this one....

It's finger lickin' good!. I have ordered the chicken and the pork chop dinner there, many times. 90% of the timer the food is great (once, one of the pork chops was rather thin). I rarely can finish in one sitting. I love the red beans and rice. This is authentic Louisiana cookin'. The food is good and cheap!

F'N GREAT. Ah man this place is good. The best fried chicken I have ever had! Ya I said it. It's better than my mom's! your mom's too. It is right across from McNeese, but if you don't know it there, you will never see it. The chicken is hot and fresh. So well seasoned. The seasoning is actually in the meat, not just on the outside. It is awesome.

This is the best chicken I've ever had! The flavor goes all the way to the bone.

The food was outstanding and packed with flavor, perfectly spiced in a way that I really enjoy. I loved every bite!
