The Villa Harlequin - Lake Charles

My husband and I have celebrated our anniversary here several times, and we also visit whenever we're in the mood for something different. Although we live about 45 minutes to an hour away in Beaumont, Texas, we absolutely love this restaurant. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the wait staff is wonderful! We've never been disappointed.

We've never had a disappointing experience at The Villa! Every staff member we interact with is genuinely kind and considerate. The food is absolutely delicious, clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and care. We love celebrating here and have even brought our kids to enjoy a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for making our date nights so special!

I took my wife to this charming historical restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. We were fortunate to arrive before the majority of reservations filled up, allowing us to dine there. I highly suggest calling ahead to secure a reservation if you're planning a visit. We were seated on the mezzanine and taken care of by our waiter, Derrick. My wife ordered the Gamberetti accompanied by a salad, while I went for the Tuscan Chicken with a salad as well. We also sampled the Haven on Earth and the Lemon Blueberry Smash, both of which were outstanding for different reasons. The staff at The Villa Harlequin displayed remarkable customer service when they accommodated another table that had reserved space for 18 but arrived with 24 guests, finding extra chairs and table space for them. The food, atmosphere, and service were absolutely fantastic. My wife and I will definitely return for another date night.

We really enjoyed this fine dining establishment. I had a small plate of veal meatballs. They were delicious and the sauce perfect. Hubby had veal parmesan and nearly liked his plate clean. The wine selection was good...we selected a bottle of redfrom Tuscany. Very soft tannins and very drinkable! Hubby did find a challeng ordering scotch...but with the main bartenderspersonal attention settled on one he's enjoyed before, just not his preferred Glenlivet 12 year.

I came with a group of friends and we didn't have a reservation, but they seated us quickly. The service was excellent, and all the food was delicious. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but since we ended up sharing dishes with a friendly stranger, it made it more manageable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!
