This golden corral location is my far the worst I have ever been to. No longer feels welcoming. Feels empty, kind of like this place was just made for business, and that's it. Salad bar felt like it was missing a few items, and the food was sub-par. The girl at the register did he give us our silverware and Waitress when asked for it didn't give it to us either. Today was my mother's birthday and it felt like she didn't even get a proper meal period if i could ask for my money back i would period i do not recommend this place For anyone!
We came lunch time and pot roast was deliciously soft, no-sugar blueberry pie was nicely baked, taco meat was very good. our server Katy was accommodating. there wasn't many ppl coz weekday. we read online the price was 11.49@ but we got charged 40. its ok coz good food!
We have been going here for breakfast frequently for the past couple months. The breakfast buffet is their best meal time. They have a good variety of options for breakfast and I usually enjoy it. Today 3/18/24 we got to the Lake Elsinore location at around 9:10AM. The doors were open but when we got inside it was dark. The lights were off but we could see employees in the back. Promptly a women came over to inform us they are closed until 11am. We asked why there is still a giant sign posted up on the side of their building which promotes breakfast at 9am and the worker pretended to be clueless about it. The huge sign on the building is positioned so that it is visible to freeway traffic. We can’t be the only ones who were disappointed by this. They also have a sticker directly on the front door promoting breakfast at 9am. I provided a photo
I am a regular older customer of golden corral. I like this old chain store very much. They are known for their quality and service. Because of work, I have eaten at restaurants in various states. But this store is the worst I've ever seen. This is completely different from the chain stores I know. We went there at 6pm on a weekend. They had absolutely no spare plates and all the cutlery was dirty. No one cares about replacement. New dishes were washed only at the request of many customers. All their food plates were empty. Many guests are waiting. No beef at all. A dozen people were waiting and they only brought out two or three pieces of meat at a time. It took nearly ten minutes for them to give each person a small slice. And there is absolutely no choice of meat. I asked for it well-done and what they gave me was completely undercooked. The range hood above the oven was constantly dripping oil, making a lot of food around it very dirty. I don't know what the store manager thinks. However, as a chain brand of Golden Corral, doing so will not only hurt consumers, but also cause fatal harm to this chain restaurant that aims at quality and service. If they want golden corral to operate better, I hope they can grasp the basic service and customer experience of each store. Therefore, the problems of this store are hygiene, food continuity, service, and food quality.
