MLG - Lake Forest

We go to MLG regularly. Tonight was very quiet, so service was. very attentive. Our bartender, Nick, was friendly and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was good, as expected. It was a nice visit.

We ate inside where the noise level was low. Our server was very attentive and the food very tasty and well presented. We will definitely return.

This current menu is sad and the service is getting worse each visit. The place is always 1/2 empty now and even though portions are smaller than ever, prices are up. They always over charge on wine glasses and then tell you it was a large pour (like I've never had a glass of wine before? to avoid that I ordered a split but it was opened before getting to the table and so I did not get the whole amount. We have stopped visiting regularly; only go to sit outside on nights there is live music. Only order the burger ;

Steak came rare, not medium. Ravioli have no taste, was it crab? Was it cheese? Shrimp was fried with shell and head on, very difficult to open up. Mediocre meal today.

I dine at MLG about six times annually. Always enjoyable. Very enticing menu. Fine service
