La Michoacana Premium - Lake Forest

It is summer. So it is ice cream time. This chain of Mexican ice cream shops is an excellent alternative to other chains like Hagen das, Ben and Jerry 's or Handel 's. The ice creams can be more on the sugary side and spicy . The shop is clean and bright. The ice creams are not labeled and Spanish is the primary language.

Two girls working on the 4th of July were so rude. I tried coming in at 8pm and as soon as I opened the door one of them started yelling “we’re closed.” Like chill out, you’re sign says open and your door was unlocked, no “sorry we closed early or anything” just greeted with an attitude. I regularly come with my family and the older ladies are always sweet but these uneducated girls ruined the location for me.

Everything great EXCEPT bathroom always seem to be out of service ...how can that be possible?

I agree w ppl who expect every Michoacana to be the same but sadly they aren 't. This is one that doesn 't meet the standards in my opinion. I came in for an esquite and the cheese tasted worse than the cheese my mom brings from Mexico ?. They didn 't even add mayonnaise to my elote de lata in a cup.
