I would give them 5 stars in food quality, but they serve octopus, and is not cooked well, it is disgustingly gummy. Other than that the food is great!
My family and I had dinner here last night. I recommended this place because the last time I was here, I thought the food was pretty good. It's been a while since I last visited here. We each got our own meals and shared 1 dish together. The bill was almost $100. Very expensive!! Don't get me wrong, the food was pretty good, but the price was a little over the top, especially for 3 people who ordered 1 thing for themselves and all together shared an appetizer. Aside from that, it wasn't that busy when we got there. There wasn't a table/booth big enough that was ready for us right away (needed someone to take away wine glasses and wipe down booth). The staff was kind. The atmosphere was great. Loved the music playing in the background. Overall, we enjoyed our food. We just hope the prices will come down eventually.
Lupe's has fantastic food and some very creative spins on classic quick SoCal Mexican favorites. I've tried just about every Signature Burrito they have and have been left with a great impression. The portions are hefty easy to split into two meals usually (which helps offset the menu prices), and the quality of the ingredients leads to mouth watering flavors. Their al pastor is bursting with flavor, and their carne asada is of good quality with very little fat and filler.I typically grab items to go, and find that online ordering is prompt, quick, and friendly. Definitely recommend for some guilty pleasure Mexican food!
The place is good and clean. The service is fast, and the food is good. I like the tacos al pastor and tacos de carne asada con queso blanco. They also have the traditional Boing and other beveragea.
