Everything was amazing: ambiente, service, eating. hand-spun milkshakes, the best tuna salad sandwich ever and a phenomenal Gouda bacon.
If it would be just for the food and the look of the diner itself, this place would deserve 5 stars. Our breakfast was delicious and the ambiance is really cute. Unfortunately, the feeling in this diner is not pleasant and I think it's due to management. Nobody is smiling, nobody is really making you feel welcome. I understand, it seemed busy, but that is the hospitality business. A lot of restaurants/bars are super busy and manage to be friendly and pleasant to their customers. It's not like anybody was rude at this place, but also not welcoming nor friendly. As mentioned, we think it was due to the manager/owner, since she was running around with an attitude and an obvious bad mood. The way she talked to her employees wasn't very nice either, you could tell they are all on edge. This is what really killed the experience for us. Luckily, our waiter was Evan, which brightened it all up a little bit. He did his best to make us feel comfortable.
Good friendly service and good food. The soup was homemade. The menu consists of familiar choices for breakfast and lunch such as eggs and sandwiches. The parking lot is a plus in an area where parking can be difficult to find.
Visiting Lake Geneva for a weekend stopped in for breakfast. Super cute place! Great food fabulous service.
