The Nautical Beachfront Resort

Got a premier suite, The admiral, it smells terrible like cat litter. There’s no door for second room. Apparently it’s 1 room and all open set up. Please don’t believe you have a 2 room suite. That is a lie. Their answer was to spray a 5 min lasting air freshener, and give us tacks, width a sheet for the other room. Completely insane for the almost 3k for a part of a week. Just not worth the money, and they don’t care

Probably one of the most disappointing resorts we’ve stayed at. Yes the view was beautiful but the service was very poor. All of the employees we talked to were rude had a bad attitude. We had to vacuum our own room, ants were in the bed, the rooms were very dated, the tv channels weren’t working, the pool was smaller then expected etc.. We drove 4 hours to stay at this resort just to be disappointed for our mini getaway. Not worth the money ?? pictures of the resort itself were deceiving.

Place was really nice. Has the lake view and few steps to the beach the pool and the restaurant. Very satisfied with services and amenities. Will come here again. The only thing is that the weather was very very hot. Will come back maybe between Nov and February.

The 3 of us ladies go to the Nautical pool every Sunday at 9 am to catch some rays cool off in the pool. The pool hasn't been that cool lately but it's still refreshing. The bar maid comes around to take orders regularly. Never had a bad food order; the beer could be colder though. I think the bar should open at 10 am, not 11 am, says a lot of other pool people we've met there.

If you're thinking about visiting this place for the beach, think again! There are so many boats that pay for spots that normal guests can’t enjoy the water or the beach. There simply isn’t enough space for all the guests they accommodate. On top of that, the boats blast their music until midnight, creating an overwhelming noise clash as large groups compete to play their music louder than each other. You'll find a mix of country, rock, EDM, and rap all at once, resulting in an ear-splitting experience that will leave you with a headache. Unless you have the best sound system and a big group, this isn't going to be fun. Service leaves much to be desired, primarily due to a lack of care and staff shortages. The woman at the front desk was rude, and overall, this place feels more like a party hotel than a resort. Speaking of resorts, they typically offer cleaning services and don't charge for additional towels. We were a family of four and received only two shower towels, and when we requested more, we were bluntly told no. The few areas where you can set up on the “beach” are often encroached upon by guests yelling at you to stay away from their boats or the water. Security does nothing to help and only adds to the harassment. The beds were uncomfortably hard and cheap, and the decor felt extremely outdated. The carpet was stained and appeared unclean, with crumbs on the floor when we arrived and an opened bar of soap on the bathroom sink. You could easily hear your neighbors through the walls, making it an uncomfortable stay overall. This place is not worth the price! Additionally, I was charged for drinks that I never received. The overall lack of care is quite alarming. On the positive side, the food at Turtle Cove was good—though overpriced—and the view is stunning. **Rooms**: The walls are thin, music is loud, and the staff's attitude is indifferent and rude. **Walkability**: The layout is like a maze, but you can get where you need to go—if it’s open! Be careful of poorly lit speed bumps at night. **Food & Drinks**: The Turtle Cove breakfast buffet was surprisingly good, as was the coffee. **Noteworthy Details**: Prepare yourself for loud music, obnoxious behavior from both guests and staff, and a good chance of experiencing a headache.
