Chicken Express - Lake Jackson

On Friday night, we were craving some fresh chicken, only to be met with a mountain of fried chicken that had clearly been sitting there for a long time. I was ready for a delicious meal, but I have to say, what I saw was quite disappointing! That chicken was visible from the road!

I have visited this restaurant several times, and my family absolutely loves it! The food is always delicious. I especially appreciate that they serve gizzards, which are my favorite. The chicken strips—whether spicy, regular, or a mix of both—are also really good.

I recently tried Chicken Express for the first time, and I really enjoyed the roasted okra, chicken tenders, and sweet rolls. I can't wait to go back for more!

Order a 16-piece family meal with potatoes/gred, Mac n' cheese and Koleslaw today after shopping in the city home I noticed that we lacked our cookies, so I called and the woman I agreed with, I could come back next time when I was in town, since I lived for over 20 minutes. Not cool, but not a big deal. After sitting with my family, we realized that the severity was as watery as milk and the Mac n' cheese didn't taste right. So I'll call back this time and ask the manager. I think she said her name was Amber. I explained what happened and everything she could do was give me excuses. Not even an apology. I paid $45.

The food was good except that when we got our chicken tenders there was a big clump of chicken tenders stuck together like someone just dropped them in there like that and didn't even move them around in the oil when they cooked them.
