Swamp Shack Lake Jackson

First time coming, I was very nervous!! But it was absolutely amazing! Food came out way better than our table expected!

Appetizers were good, main food was not the best. Felt like our party's orders were rushed through the kitchen. Also, we asked to move tables as we were put right by the restrooms, and we all had a strong sewage smell. We were moved, and it was better. Overall, my wife and kids did not like their meals, and I felt ripped off on my steam plate.We all will not be back.

I'm not sure what I was expecting from the Sunday buffet but I was a bit disappointed. The area where the buffet table is was a tight squeeze.

Nice family style restaurant. Friendly approachable staff. Fresh home style cooking seafood.
