The place was pretty much full, but the hostess took us right to our table without a wait. My wife and I had not been there for a number of years. We liked the restaurant 's new appearance. We elected to get the options on the restaurant week menu. I had the Peppadews to start which are bacon wrapped shrimp. Very good. Boston Clam Chowder, also good. Main dish was Filet of Strip au Poivre, done as I requested. It was also very good. Desert was a Chocolate-Peanut Butter Pie, which was excellent. Our waiter was DUSTY and she was terrific. She noted that glasses of wine were half off because it was Happy Hour and she came by to make sure all our food and drinks were delivered on time and we were happy. The view of the lake is beautiful as long as the sun is up. We will be back. This was a nice evening.
Food was not good. The crab cakes tasted like it was not cooked fresh and wasn’t hand made. Now the Caesar salad was fabulous. Back to the non seasoned food. My steak was dry. The mash potatoes was not good. But my wife said her salmon was the best she ever had. And the parking was terrible
Food was excellent for dinner of ribs and scallops wrapped in bacon, service was slow but they seemed to be overwhelmed after earlier showers. A little on the pricey side but atmoshere on the marina deck was worth it! Was surprised they charged a credit card fee without warning.
2 out of 3 times we've gone, the experiences weren't great. It almost seems like their kitchen has trouble handling when they get even a little bit busy.
Great food and service and view. Can’t wait to hang on the patio this summer!!
