Moon Star Asian Bistro - Lake Luzerne

Of all the Chinese restaurants I have ever visited, this is the worst! We ordered roast pork with broccoli and sesame chicken combination plates, which come with fried rice and egg rolls. The rice is not fried, it's fluffy with a couple of pieces of chicken scattered in. The egg rolls are tiny, not crispy with very little inside. Wonton soup is decent, but wontons are hard! When I called to complain, I was told that's how they make the fried rice. No vegetables added That's just how they make it When I said something about the egg rolls, I was told the same thing. There are no other Chinese restaurants in the vicinity of Lake Luzerne. I suppose that's how they get away with sub- standard food. If you enjoy good Chinese food, don't go there!

Was given wrong order and other items were disgusting!!!was yelled at when returned!!! was unfrofessionally talked to that I recorded that I will be turning into the better business bureau I would give zero stars if that was an option i was screamed at called a liar and asked what to do with the other food they prepared and I suggested to give it to a needy family or a homeless person and then was marked and told not to call and order again which I will not because the food I received was not only a disgrace it definitely was and not up to par if they were ever to be visited by the code inspector I urge to stay far far away unless you have no taste buds or are trying to give yourself a heart attack from the amount of salt used nonetheless moon star get to know stars they can take their food to the moon and back and I still wouldn’t eat it absolutely repulsive and the fact that I mentioned to give it to a family in need or take it home for your family to eat and was laughed at the fact that they won’t eat their own food shall make one question.....(update to response) I in fact did not ask for a new meal my husband brought the food back to you as we discussed.. you then fought with him and said you made new food and called me to yell at me. I would never tell you to give food that was consumed during covid!! I had told you when you asked what do I do with the food we just prepared?that’s when I stated to either give it to a family in need or bring it home for your family. I am glad that you responded in a manner and admitting that you in fact yelled at me and were upset so then people can see how you really run as a business. we are in very tough times and for that I am sorry,but I did not need to be spoken to in the manner that you spoke to me in. I would be more than happy to let your customers actually hear the recorded phone call or even yourself for that matter so please don’t try to church it up to make it seem like you’re the victim.

The food is amazing, the service is great and there is no hassle ordering.

My regular order of fried sommes and egg drops soup. Fried Wintons were greasy and old and received false soup (wonton instead of egg drops) called and advised servers of errors and was called liars. I ordered NIE a sommee. Nasty attitude and terrible experience!!
