Burrito Loco - Lake Norman of Iredell

Who is rating this place 5 stars? Do you own tastebuds? Or are you just comparing to taco bell? Cheese dip is Velveeta with spices, meat is greasy and tastes like basic taco seasonings, not carne asada by any means. Salsa tastes like Newman's own. If that's your thing, good for you. More for you because I'm not missing anything by not going here.

Old review: Good food. A little too pricey. Now: SO disappointed. Got a surf turf burrito on 6/30/18. Almost entirely rice. My first five bites were 100% rice tortilla. My son's pesca (fish) burrito tasted like a McDonald's filet-o-fish wrapped in a tortilla. I used to like this place. Not anymore.

I have been frequenting Burrito Loco for about 5 years. Lately almost a lot of the items are shrinking in size. $3.75 for a super small size of cheese dip! It was double the size about 6 months ago the container has shrunk but the price remains the same. This is WHY eating out is a rare thing for our home now. Ordered Cali Fries, a Pesca burrito, 2 drinks and a cheese dip= $30. Outrageous. Rather go to a restaurant style not a cantina style and get more food for the same amount of money.

Food wasn't horrible, at least what we ordered wasn't. It's Mexican/American fast food? It's not a traditional Mexican restaurant im used to going to. Nothing to go out of your way for from i77. They have a kids menu and sell Nathann hot dogs

Tacos are really good! People very nice, passed by after going to the races. Was a very nice place to stop before heading home for the day
