Bangkok Pad Thai - Lake Orion

My family and I have traveled extensively in search of Thai food, making frequent trips from Michigan to Montana in pursuit of the best cuisine. We were thrilled to discover this little gem after visiting a family member in Orion, just a 40-minute drive from home. Without a doubt, we all agree that this is the most authentic and delicious Thai food we've ever had. Despite a recent price increase, the generous portions make it worth every penny. The owners are incredibly personal and have taken the time to get to know us so well that I often just need to mention my name, and they instantly recall my favorite dishes, spice preferences, and even any special requests I might have. They've even remembered my birthday! We won't be going anywhere else. Thank you for treating us like family. I wholeheartedly give this place a perfect 100 stars!! - Dee

Fantastic Thai restaurant! The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. I usually finish an entire meal by myself at other restaurants, but here, I can get a plate that's enough for two days at the same cost. The staff is friendly and is always willing to help you understand the menu options. Just a heads up: the medium spice level might be too intense for those who aren't accustomed to spicy food.

This is the best Thai food in the area. They did mention that prices were increasing, but the 33% hike was much higher than I anticipated, particularly for dishes that don't use many ingredients. I understand that they need to adjust to rising supplier costs, but it feels like an excessive increase for a take-out lunch, especially when you consider other options nearby. While I'm not saying I won't return, my visits will likely be less frequent and no longer on a weekly basis.

Love the veggie fried rice at this place.. it isn't available on the menu but Macy was extremely patient in helping with it and making the fried rice vegetarian (with a special sauce) and it turned out really well. 5 stars for food and courteous and patient staff!

The food here is consistently delicious. Huge portions usually 3 separate meals from one order. We have gotten both noodle and rice dishes and they have all been excellent. Spring rolls are fresh and crisp, soups are very flavorful. Turn around time is very fast and food is always well packaged.
