Cottage Cafe - LAKE PLACID

The Montreal sandwich was absolutely delicious and the outdoor terrace had a spectacular view of the lake. Recommend this place for anyone who crosses the Placid lake!

My husband and I were honeymoon in Lake Placid and this place was suggested by a friend. We shared the buffalo chicken di and the cook choice of cured meat flatbread. Both were delicious! The bathroom was a generous part and it came with warm bread and corn chips, which was a nice switch. The flatbread is filled with fresh ingredients for one serving. We had a table right on the lower terrace, just steps from the water, so the view was spectacular! People can row their boats to the port, go out and have a bite to eat, which I thought was cool. We definitely go back when we get back to Lake Placid!

The absolute best place to eat for a cocktail for a snack for dinner is amazing and the staff is all about customer service I would like to have the recipe for the top Sirloin on Shibata bread I wonder if they were so kind to share

Very recommended and not disappointed! Had the avocado/tomato caprese salad with chicken. The balsamikum and olive oil were wonderful and not ready. The tomatoes and avocado were on the spot! Great food and very friendly atmosphere. Come on!

Excellent location at the end of 'The strip ' of Main Street. This provides an amazing view of the lake looking back at the town of Lake Placid. The food was excellent. Hand made, crafted with care beyond a simple Sysco, mass produced meal. Cute, cozy and inviting. Well worth a visit when in town.
