Jaxson's - LAKE PLACID

The chicken Philly sandwich was very good, but the house made chips that came with the dish tasted stale like they were fried in old oil. It should be served with fries.

I ordered a rum runner and my husband a Jack and coke. Both were fine. We had gator bites to start-they were WAY TOO tough, very disappointing. I had a burger with mushrooms and onions with sweet potato fries. My husband ordered a chicken Philly (I know, I know-a frequent order-2nd of the day-lol) The burger was PERFECTLY DELICIOUS. The seasoning was really nice. The sweet potato fries were good but a little too thick. Chicken hoagie was good. The chicken had a nice char flavor to it adding another lever of flavor. Jaxson’s is basically a bar with booths. Service was great, swerved was friendly and prompt. The place wasn’t dirty but it was messy.

Road house type Pub. Second visit better than the first. Crab cake with regulate. Home baked lasagna.

In Lake Placid and located in an residential area. Lake side with a view if you sit out back. Inside feels like a bar. Still, a nice place to visit if you are in the area.

Great place. We drive from Okeechobee to eat there and it was great every time.
