Contribuisci feedbackThanks for a fantastic fourth July dinner! great service and eating. if I like another, I would have eaten everything on the menu.
We had dinner there on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and although they were busy we had wonderful, attentive service. And the food...we had some specially prepared dishes that were EXCELLENT (the chef will do this on request). We started with a fried potato and cheese pancake with crem fresh and caviar, then oysters Rockefeller, then I had filet mignon on foie gras and pea greens with black truffles. My wife had chicken in a tomato jus with mashed potatoes which was the most tender chicken she had ever had. The dessert was a melt in your mouth chocolate mousse pie. Halfway through the meal there was a musician playing acoustic guitar singing soulful tunes. It was all splendid!
We had a reservation for 7 pm and once we were seated and the server cam to take our order, they pointed out that one of the main dishes on the menu was sold out. Later, they indicated that there were no more deserts left in the entire restaurant. What time do you have to arrive in order to be able to order anything on the menu and get a dessert?
My husband had great steak and I lovely mozzerella dish. Coffee was excellent. Busy wait staff so a bit of a wait for service.
Kitchy, but cute bistro with nice food, but the prices just don't fit. $55 for Cacio e pepe with some gambas? Funny, funny. Some very eclectic ideas such as pot sticklers and spring rolls thrown in as well.To be clear, quality of food we had was good (loved the juicy chicken), but really not outstanding enough to lead to a $130 bill for 2 (without bottle of wine or anything crazy).
