That is, it is worth trying out of its way. they set up a historic building while preserving its charm and core architecture. eating was excellent, with usually sufficient portions. we had the baked brie app, it was a little small, but delicious. my wife has the steak w/ riesling sauce risotto. the steak was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was a fantastic mix of sweet taste. the part was quite large, with a 12oz steak and a lot of risotto. the risotto was perfectly cooked, but a bit simple in taste. I have a lobster bisque baked potato that was more than enough to eat themselves. a large potato slice open, with lobster bisque poured inside, then it is covered with fresh mozzarella, and baked. the bisque is filled with big lobster vegetables and was simply the best I had outside of maine. the service was very pleasant and prompt. all in all, it was a wonderful experience that we will definitely repeat when we are close.
We went to giorgios with another couple for our 52th anniversary and all of us loved our dinner. my chicken cordon blu was perfectly cooked and the sea bass of my wife was excellent.
We were told by the cook, bill that sat and took our drink order, the specials of the night and actually our order before the waitress came in and he turned us into their excellent care. Unfortunately I can only remember that her name started with a c, I think maybe courtney, anyway she was pleasant and very attentive. in any case, it's nice to eat here again.
I really have a hard time to understand the positive reviews of this facility here on open table. to say that is mediocre, would be an exaggeration. the dining room was empty at 6:00 on Wednesday night and now I know why. the menu looked promising, but the direction through the kitchen was very bad. the entries were made with bad quality ingredients of questionable fresh. Stay away.
We enjoyed a wonderful and delicious evening with the only problem since our visit was during the off season some of the menu selections were unavailable and our server was not aware causing confusion after ordering our entrees.
