Nuttshell Next Door Cafe - Lakefield

A group of 5 women ordered to take and pick up the Lakefield lock by phone as soon as we were stopped in town. We ordered a variety of articles that were ALL exception. I have the Chicken Basil on a bun sandwich, with real, juicy, fried chicken, salad and a luscious basil melt in your mouth pour Mayo cream on a fresh bungalow. Perfect compliment for a sunny summer day!

If you're looking for a place with top-notch coffee, then this is the spot for you. I tried a delicious rhubarb muffin and a fantastic scone here. Highly recommend!

Shopping in Lakefield and we needed lunch. We saw this café and decided to try it. We sat outside and it was pretty busy. You order in and then bring your order. My wife and I both had soup and sandwich. The soup was excellent rag and potato and the sandwich was a roasted chicken, goat cheese, salad, cucumber and rhubarb Chutney very good as well!

I went to this restaurant for the first time in early July 2020 with a friend. We decided to have breakfast there. Customers line up on the front porch, then go inside to check out the menu, place their order, and pay. The drinks are served at the counter, while all cooked meals are brought to the table. The restaurant has a spacious patio, with a covered porch and an outdoor area next to the sidewalk. The service was good, prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent! We definitely plan on returning in the future.
