Now, onto the negatives. The seating is only outdoors with just a few picnic tables, and the location is in a sketchy neighborhood; we even witnessed what appeared to be a drug deal across the street. We also noticed cars cutting through the parking lot to avoid the main street, which made us feel unsafe while dining. Based on this experience, it would have been better to order take-out, but we weren't aware of this beforehand. Furthermore, I found the prices to be on the high side for a counter-service restaurant, especially for the sides. A tiny cup of baked beans, which was only about three bites worth, cost $4. While they were delicious, that price felt excessive. Our total meal cost over $40 for the two of us, which seemed steep. In summary, the meal itself was good, and I would consider returning for take-out if I'm in the area. However, I recommend that patrons not attempt to eat on-site and to stick to fewer side orders.

I had the large fish sandwich with fries and coleslaw for a quick lunch. I found the fish sandwich to be lacking in flavor, unfortunately. However, the corn nuggets were quite good.

I reached out to the manager today to express my gratitude, and there was a moment of hesitation when I asked to speak with her, as is often the case. When I conveyed my thanks to her and her team, she was incredibly kind and even asked if I had any complaints or suggestions. It was truly impressive! Fantastic job overall! Keep up the excellent customer service and continue making delicious food!

Been in Lakeland for years the best fish sandwich around

I have loved Mr Fish for years. Get it the way they serve it! They are a little heavy on the onion but otherwise perfect! My mouth waters even now!
