Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Gonzales

From the moment we arrived, the manager's attitude was quite off-putting. He seemed unfazed when he only brought three out of the four drinks we ordered. When we inquired about the missing drink, he sarcastically replied, "I only have two hands." I found this humorous, especially given my over ten years of experience in the restaurant industry, where it's usually not a challenge to carry four drinks to a table. The steak we ordered was served undercooked and had a purple hue. When we requested a replacement, it felt like we were being blamed for the issue. I wouldn't recommend dining here unless you're okay with subpar treatment.

Initially, the restaurant's name didn't motivate me to check it out. However, after listening to my neighbors sing its praises, I decided to give it a shot. What a wonderful surprise! The appetizers are outstanding, each bringing a hint of Louisiana flavor—truly scrumptious. A little tip: if you go during happy hour (weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM), the appetizers are half off. I couldn't resist trying the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, and I ended up taking half of it home!

The food at Walk-On's is always top-notch, and this visit was no exception. The meals are consistently delicious, and the ambiance is welcoming. However, it can get quite noisy, so it's not the best place for a peaceful conversation.
