We came to a busy public holiday and found eating unusable. I ate the sushi and the whole rice fell out, was hard and without taste. they shouldn't offer it if they don't know how to do it. my man ate the egg and... bacon roll tasted like it's been sitting around for ever. my children ate potato cakes and they were oily and not properly cooked, although we had to wait for them to be freshly cooked. after that, the food was in my liking and I felt at it. I wouldn't recommend it here. we regretted it. the milkshake my children had was good, so maybe just for drinks and ice instead of eating. as a shame as it is a beautiful spot.
Beautiful place for a walk, sitting and contemplation, how beautifully seen entry really is. this beautiful little caffe, which is located opposite the walkway and the beach with the many black robes that strip along the sand, is worth a visit. beautiful shaded spots with sunshades,. carpets and even hammocks and kisses provided. even a chalkboard and toys for the children. we had a coffee and a hot chocolate with a toastia. everything really delicious and fresh and served with a smile of a beautiful lady who loves her job. total $13.50 and every cent worth really loved the music so very relaxing. many thanks for a delightful morning of total relaxation they hope their business. should be more like it in this lively world
This cozy cafe is simply delightful, situated on the esplanade bridge at Lakes Entrance. It's a perfect spot to relax after a stroll to the entrance or a trip to the surf beach. They offer snacks, drinks, and friendly, attentive service in a gorgeous setting. It's a great place to sit and admire the active paddle-boarders on Cunningham Bay and observe the graceful black swans gliding by. Their ice cream is particularly delicious, and the coffee is top-notch. Highly recommended!
We had eyed this cafe before our Entrance Walk, and were not disappointed. The laid out blankets, hammocks and assorted seating left us with too many good choices. Ordered a large coffee each $5) and fish n chip pack $9) from Patrick at the inside...counter. A really nice guy who directed us to the fish coop upon our asking directions. The blankets were tempting to stay and reflect on the walk and planning for our time in The Lakes. The wind was starting to give hint of a storm brewing so back to our camp. If we had our wet weather gear we would have stayed on and watched the storm roll in over the ocean
