Jakes In The Village - Lakeside

The food is so good. But it took quite a bit for out order to be taken, nearly missed out on the lunch special, then after ordering waited nearly an hour only to receive almost cold food. But the atmosphere is very relaxed. Good for a lunch date or date night.

Went there to celebrate my Son in laws 50th Birthday and it was Father 's day. Had a fantastic time and the food was delicious 'will definitely recommend anyone to go there.

Have always loved Jakes in the Village, miss the original in Kenilworth and love Noordhoek. Some great winter specials on at the moment. R99 for an American cheese burger , onion rings and chips. Food was amazing, service was from the top drawer.

Second time at Jakes in the Village, and must definitely share my experiences. The lamb curry was delicious, the salmon dish was mouth watering delicious. My husband had the steak the first time and the second time the Pork Belly. He felt that he can make a better pork belly, but he destroyed that huge strawberry milkshake, and was upset with me for taking some of that creamy dreamy milkshake.

Food was delicious, was my first time at the restaurant tonight. Only one thing put me off, I waited over a hour and 20 mins for my food, my girlfriend had her birthday supper and we got a table reserved for the family and friends, that was the only downer, waiting more than a 1 and 20 mins for our food, Im not sure if load shedding has to do with this but I was getting very hungry and frustrated, the place was full. Nice setup, nice atmosphere, and the waiters are extremely helpful and friendly. I'm definitely going to try them out again, because by far I think that was the best burger I had tasted in my life!
