Boll Weevil - Lakeside

While we admired the delightful sweets at the Boll Weevil, the portion sizes of the food were smaller than we anticipated. In a similar establishment at home, we could probably spend 30% less and get a lot more food. I was okay with that, though, because the food was tasty enough. Just keep in mind that this is the type of casual eatery where you'll find delicious chili cheese fries and crispy onion rings. The salad I ordered was fantastic, and the Buffalo sauce was so good it made me want to give the place an extra star, despite my earlier hesitation. Overall, the food was satisfying, especially after a day of camping—it made the well-prepared meal even more enjoyable. We decided to leave a generous tip for our waitress, who genuinely loved this little place, and so did we.

This restaurant consistently offers excellent service and delicious food that fills you up without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

We took our family out for dinner and to enjoy a performance by the El Capitan Jazz Band. The food was excellent, and the servers were very friendly.

Kathie was so brilliant, she's missing! She's our server and has been there for 20 years, I think she said she's the one that crochets the little hamburgers around the restaurant and I actually bought a real size that she made, that's so sweet! The food is really good, I really enjoyed the chili!

Our whole family loves Boll Weevil. My husband and I have been eating there since 1974 since we were dating at 16 years old. All of our 4 sons and family come with us to eat the best hamburgers. Boll Weevil is an American Institution. We love Boll Weevil. Thank you.
