Chalet Restaurant Bar - Lakeside

The owner, Dennis, goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. We typically start with a martini—sometimes even two—prepared by Shawn, the bartender, who makes an excellent dirty martini. After that, we settle in at our table for a consistently perfect meal. We've been coming here for 10 years and have never been disappointed.

The medium steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, with a nice thickness. The chicken pasta reminded me of a Campbell's mushroom soup recipe, but it was still quite tasty. The bands playing were excellent, and the service was both very good and fast.

Who serves scallops? I went there for dinner, and it was just okay. The service was excellent, and the other appetizers were really good. I was just curious about the pan-seared scallops. The special of the night, mahi mahi, was fantastic. I'm really conflicted.

Expectations were low when we came in, but oh my goodness, what a surprise! we ordered a burger, the tempura garnel and the seafood salad. the burger was perfectly cooked! the tempura garnels were excellent. the seafood salad with salmon was done exactly as ordered. the only thing to criticize was that the tweeper rings stayed a bit too long in the frit. Additionally, our server phoenix was attentive, timely and pleasant. a chalet with a gilligans island decoration, but it works.

Chalet is great! I will be honest in saying that I wasn't sure what to expect but i was greatly surprised when I realized the place is awesome. The food was amazing and quick. All of the staff was awesome and very personable. After dinner, if you feel so included, check out the bar and Shawn. He's great and definitely helps to wind things down and have a great evening. Will definitely be stopping by everytime I'm in town.
