We had the tomatoes pasta, fillet, fish and chicken entrees, and each dish was carefully prepared, fresh and tasty. Service was also professional, but also warm and sincere. The bar is a big pre-dinner stop, or worth a visit to its own right. When we were there on Wednesday night, the place was full!
The food was exceptional at Julia’s! Both my husband and I had perfectly prepared, delicious main courses: the ribbed eye and the Penne Pasta. Really nice fresh, small salads and a super dessert. It was also cheap! I wish we had such a place in our neighborhood!
This is our favorite place for all special occasions, for a quick after work together with friends, or for a quiet dinner for Jim and I after a long working week. Absolutely delicious appetizers. Always great specials. And big steaks, which is a hard accusations to earn in the middle of the beef country!
If you are looking for fine food in Lakeview or somewhere along the route of Highway 395, this is the place to go. Owner Julia Drori, a graduate of the San Francisco Culinary Academy with 30 years of experience as a chef, makes everything from scratch. Your seasonal Mediterranean menu offers fresh local ingredients. And the food is great. I loved the handcuffed blue cheese salad and the Caesar salad. My steak was delicate, tasteful and perfectly cooked. The salmon of my friend had a light crust with a silky, delicate interior. This new restaurant is a fantastic reason to drive to Lakeview more often!
Julia's on 395 is just wonderful. I had the filet and I never had such a great steak and there was so unexpected way out here. Wait staff was very attentive and we felt like we were being spoiled.
