Buckboard - Lakeville

Little hole in the wall diner that is always busy. Real authentic breakfast food. Excellent pancakes. Service was grumpy but I think that's part of the charm. Small town feel in a big city.

You want an old school breakfast and atmosphere. This is the place to go. The food is great.

The Buckboard is a gem! I had forgotten how good it was, hadn't been for some years even though I drive by it often. This past week I've gone twice, once with my mom and once with my husband, and there's a reason for that! The food comes (quickly out of the kitchen piping hot, in large portions, and is delicious. Our server was lovely and accommodating, made us feel very welcome. This is a long-time family owned diner that's still around because they care about quality and customer service and it shows! I love supporting local businesses, I'll definitely be back, and probably bring more people with me. ? (Also, I love the cool western-style interior, see my quick sketch, lol.
